Women's Self-Defense Class

   

This is a free service provided by Cho's Tae Kwon Do for any women interested in learning the basics of self-defense. The classes will begin on August 9, 2010 - Monday at 7:15. This will be an ongoing program as long as there are a sufficient number of women interested in the class.
You must call to register, and space is very limited. Below are some Q & A.

Q: WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS CLASS?
A: This is a free self-defense course for women. The goal is to teach practical ways to defend against an attacker. It will be an ongoing class as long as there are students that continue to attend.

Q: WHAT DO I WEAR?
A: Dress comfortably like you are about to go to the gym to work out.

Q: HOW LONG IS THE CLASS? AND WHEN IS IT?
A: Every Monday & Wednesday at 7:15-7:45pm. First class starts Aug 9

Q: WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER DONE ANY TYPE OF MARTIAL ART?
A: No experience is needed. This course is designed for the beginner to intermediate level of experience.

Q: DO I NEED TO ATTEND EVERY CLASS?
A: Perfect attendance is not required but the more classes you attend, the more you learn. Attendance will be recorded so the instructors will know how often you have come. Your attendance will determine when you are ready to learn more advanced level of instruction.

Q: WHAT WILL MY ATTENDANCE DO FOR ME?
A: Every 3 months, we will have a seminar that will be more hands on and a bit more advanced. A minimum days of attendance will be required in order to qualify for the seminar. In a 3 month period, there are potentially 24 classes to attend. So the requirement will be around 14 classes per quarter in order to be eligible for the seminars.
